Bringing Home the Bacon
In reference to my meager salary, Christian quipped:
"Bacon is bacon. And it is always good."
mm. bacon.

bacon is crispy (this comment is slightly less ranty due to the lateness of the hour and lack of caffeine in my system)

Unfortunately, Robbi likes her bacon entirely uncrispy. And it's distressing. The last time she made fried rice, the bacon was so uncrispy as to be inedible. And I don't use that word lightly.

Happy Birthday, Andy. I'd write you an email, but not loving you enough to remember your birthday, I also don't love you enough to know your email address. But at least now everyone knows how much I don't love you.

Does the meager bacon come with health insurance? So you can eat your soggy bacon and still afford the liposuction afterwords.

Meager bacon comes with nothin. But we found okay health insurance for $120/month (we could have gotten cheaper, but then we wouldn't wouldn't get one free trip a year to amass all our hypochondriac neuroses and have them checked out). That's way less than we pay through the nose now, through work.
